Overview
Callisto – Environmental Organization for Wildlife and Nature was founded in 2004 in Thessaloniki by scientists with expertise in environmental issues. Over time, the initial scientific team was joined by citizens, volunteers, and local partners, creating a strong community dedicated to protecting nature and wildlife in Greece.
To support its mission, Callisto needed a modern digital platform that could both inform and activate the public: showcasing projects, publishing news, and enabling donations and product sales.
With design by Blind Studio and development by Kukarika, the new custom WordPress + WooCommerce ecosystem was built with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) and flexible components, functioning as a dynamic hub for awareness, participation, and fundraising.
